Sell Power Back to Your Utility

On August 11, there was a violent thunder storm in Columbus, OH starting at 10 AM EST. The winds were clocked at 100 mph taking down trees and utility poles which caused a major outage lasting 3-4 days for some customers. At that time my generator would not start due to a battery problem. I ordered a Jackery 3600 Pro battery which has 2-400 watt portable solar cells. The battery is rated 120V and 3600 watt and 3684 watthours. It arrived after the power was restored; however, I have set it up and running half my house from it off the grid. At this time I have lower my electric bill 7%. I am considering using it to store energy and selling it back to the utility. Its located in basement next to my utility panel box with generac manual transfer switch allowing me to isolate the loading i have on battery from the utility panel. All my 240V equipment, (dryer, furnace, AC) is still being fed from the utility side of panel. I am considering buying a Jackery 3600 Max battery which is 120/240V and feeding the 240V equipment from it thus taking all my house from the grid and selling the excessive power in batteries back to the utility.
